Artwork Submission and General information
Orders and Acknowledgements  

All orders placed with Amtek Signs are to be in writing and faxed along with a hard copy of the artwork layout. Our factory will then acknowledge your order within one business day with an order confirmation. It is the responsibility of the distributor to review the order confirmation and inform Amtek Signs of any discrepancies.

Pricing  

Pricing on this website is subject to change without notice. All prices are F.O.B Factory. A setup charge of $20/A applied to all orders. $40/A minimum on all orders. It may be necessary to adjust pricing due to material cost. Efforts will be made by our sales staff to notify you of these changes.

Terms  

Payment terms of Net 30 days with advanced credit approval. First time orders require pre-payment or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

Production  

Standard production time on most orders is 3-5 business days from receipt of approved artwork.

Rush Service  

Rush service is available. Additional charges will apply based on production schedule and difficulty of the project. Call for rush charge quote.

Shipping  

Orders are normally shipped via UPS. Amtek Signs will exercise its best judgment in obtaining the most economical method of shipment. Drop shipments are available at no extra charge. Shipping charges will be prepaid and added to invoice. Crate charge may apply to oversized items.

Artwork Requirements for Full Color Digital Graphics  
Recommended Formats
For a close-as-possible PANTONE color match, we recommend artwork be prepared using the PANTONE Solid Coated Swatch library available in Adobe Illustrator or the CorelDraw Color Palette.

• We must have all text converted to outlines
• All linked images must be embedded unless sent with artwork

Artwork Requirements for Solid Color Vinyl Graphics
Required Formats
Vector Artwork is required for Vinyl Graphics. PLEASE NOTE: Additional charges may apply for converting Raster (Bitmap) based formats such as JPG or TIF to a Vector Format.

Submitting Artwork
All Artwork must have along with it a hardcopy faxed or emailed to Amtek Signs.
Email
  Files under 20mb can be emailed to: art@amteksigns.com. Please include your P.O. number in the subject line.
Portal
  Haven't used the portal yet? Register Here In the portal you can upload multiple files up to 100mb each with our easy to use file uploader (flash required).
FTP
 

Already know how to use FTP, here is the information for your FTP client

Step By Step FTP Instructions:
In order to upload files to an FTP site you must have an FTP client. We recommend filezilla. It is a safe, free, and open source program that will not harm your computer. We use it ourselves.

Quick Tip: eps, ai, and cdr file sizes can be cut in half if you zip them. They'll upload faster for you and download faster for us.

Step 1:

For PC users download the latest version of Filezilla Client or download directly from us by clicking this link

For Mac users download the latest version of Filezilla Client or download directly from us by clicking this link

Install Filezilla using the default options during setup. Once complete you should have a Filezilla Icon on your desktop or in All Programs that looks like this.

Step 2:

Double click the icon to open filezilla. You may be prompted to perform an update. That is not nessecary at this moment, hit cancel. Once you have the program loaded. Enter the following information into the quick connect area at the top of the screen. Port is not required it will default to 21.
Host: ftp.amteksigns.com
username: artwork
password: amtek1

Step 3:

Press the Quickconnect button. If it worked correctly you'll see the "directory listed succesful" message. If it did not, check your information your entered, also make sure you are not blocking FTP with a firewall.

Step 4:

On the left side of the screen navigate to the proper folder that contains your artwork, Right Click or if on Mac Ctl + Click. Select Upload. Your file will begin transmitting to our FTP site. You can monitor the progress in the status window at the bottom of the screen. In addition to right clicking you can drag and drop, or select multiple files and right click in order to upload. You can also upload entire folders if you choose. Please always mark your artwork or folder with your purchase order number

Step 5:

Since we have a variety of ways you can send artwork please reference on your PO that you uploaded artwork to the FTP site. Your artwork may remain visible for up to a week in order for us to download and process the files.
